Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds
We stand behind our products, which are guaranteed to give you 100% satisfaction. Please understand that all of our handcrafted artisan soap bars are beautifully unique and will slightly vary in color and design. There are no two identical soap bars.
If you are ever dissatisfied with a purchased product, please contact us and we will do our best to make you a happy customer.
Due to the nature of our handcrafted products we cannot accept returns unless there was an error made on our part, or your item was damaged in shipping.
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
If damage occurs during shipping, we’ll gladly accept return of an unused item within 21 business days (domestic returns) of purchase. Items should be in original condition. Customers will be responsible for shipping and handling charges to return the item.
To start a return, you can contact us at hello@blackcat.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
You will be notified once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
Shipping Policy
Please allow 3-5 business days between the time your order is paid through Paypal and the time your order is shipped. During high volume times and Holidays, allow 5-7 business days. This is a time it will take for us to get your product ready for shipment. This does not include the time it will take to reach you once it had left us. If your order is time sensitive please contact us so we can discuss other shipping options.
Additional Information
Products that contain vanilla notes may discolor over time to a tan or brown or even pink color, this is completely normal.
**Heat Warning**During the hot summer months please make sure to provide a safe area for your packages to be dropped off by your mail carrier. It is best for these items not to be left in a hot mailbox or in the heat of the sun for long periods of time. If you think you will not be able to accept the package once it is dropped off, it is recommended to make arrangements with your local post office to hold your items for pickup. Even when these measures are taken, please understand that your items may still become heated and soften up a bit or melt. Leave the items in a cool dry area to harden back up and they will be perfectly usable.
